Maureen and Avery's trip to SoCal

In March, Maureen and Avery went down to visit the Tramutola clan.

They had lots of fun, saw the Easter bunny, went to Disneyland, Sea World, and saw the many cousins.

Aren't I cool....

Yeah, I'm hangin' with Royalty.  Me and Snow White go way back.

Look what the Easter Bunny brought me.

That's my cousin Nicholas.  He's a great Baseball player.  He's pitching here.

There I am with Mikey and Nicky coloring Easter Eggs.

Driving the boys wild in my Easter dress.

Check out the loot I got from the Easter Egg hunt.

Avery's first year of soccer. Go Mad Dogs

Avery spent her first fall playing soccer with other five and six year old girls and boys. She played on the Mad Dogs of Aloha Micros Soccer. Avery was the smallest player on the team. And the team was a bit rough in the beginning. But by the end of the fall, Coach Neil and Coach Mark taught them enough to make them a tough bunch of Mad Dogs. Below are some snapshots of the girls and boys playing on Saturday mornings. It really is something to behold.

Avery's first day at Kindergarten!!!!!!!!!!!

Avery's first day of Kindergarten was a pretty eventful day at the Briscoe's. She was all dolled up in a new dress and ready to go.
She has a wonderful teacher who Avery adores, Mrs. Muldoon. She's a Southern Belle and good Catholic. Avery has a ton of fun and Mrs. Muldoon brags often about how great a class she has this year. All the kids get along great and there are no real trouble makers. She is truly flourishing in school, already starting to read. Her and her dad read a chapter a night in her first Chapter series books, "The Magic Treehouse Series."

Hula Girl!!!!

Avery is preparing for her 5th birthday party, getting in the mood with some Hawaiian garb and dance.

July 4th trip

The family packed up the BMW and headed to Washington for the latter half of the 4th of July week. We spent the 4th with Mark's Mom and Dad in Lakeland, WA.

Then we went up North to visit one of Mark's college buddies Jim, his wife Trish and their new baby girl Grace in Ferndale, WA.

Then the Briscoe's spent Thursday night at Semiahmoo, a resort near Blaine, WA. and the Canadian border.

Here's a picture of the resort from their website. We recommend it.
