Avery Graduates Kindergarten

After a very successful year at Beaverton Christian, Avery has graduated with full honors from her family.  We are so very proud of her and all that she has accomplished this year.  She had a great time with Mrs. Muldoon and she will be missed next year.

T-Ball is AWESOME!!!!

Avery is on the Bad News Dragons, a surprising bunch of infectious 5 & 6 year olds.

We have the best coach in the world.  Coach Charlie is Jack's dad and he is also the President of Beaverton Area Little League (B.A.L.L).  He is great with all the kids.  We've learned how to "go ape" to get ready and "go alligator" to keep our hand out in front of our face incase the ball pops up toward our chin.  And we also can do "scarecrow" to get ready to throw and we practice hitting the troll by our left foot when we follow through.

It was pretty cold for some of our games (every Thursday evening and Saturday morning).  But we're now learning how to hit with the coach pitching to us.  I hit two of the four tries I had in the last game and didn't even need the T on those.  My mom and dad are very proud of me.

Enjoy the pictures.  That's Hallie, one of my bestest friends in the picture of me and my dad.

This is part of my team at the Opening Day Ceremonies.

Look at that form.

Look at me run.  I'm super fast.

Maureen and Avery's trip to SoCal

In March, Maureen and Avery went down to visit the Tramutola clan.

They had lots of fun, saw the Easter bunny, went to Disneyland, Sea World, and saw the many cousins.

Look what the Easter Bunny brought me.

That's my cousin Nicholas.  He's a great Baseball player.  He's pitching here.

There I am with Mikey and Nicky coloring Easter Eggs.

Driving the boys wild in my Easter dress.

Check out the loot I got from the Easter Egg hunt.

Avery's first year of soccer. Go Mad Dogs

Avery spent her first fall playing soccer with other five and six year old girls and boys. She played on the Mad Dogs of Aloha Micros Soccer. Avery was the smallest player on the team. And the team was a bit rough in the beginning. But by the end of the fall, Coach Neil and Coach Mark taught them enough to make them a tough bunch of Mad Dogs. Below are some snapshots of the girls and boys playing on Saturday mornings. It really is something to behold.

Avery's first day at Kindergarten!!!!!!!!!!!

Avery's first day of Kindergarten was a pretty eventful day at the Briscoe's. She was all dolled up in a new dress and ready to go.
She has a wonderful teacher who Avery adores, Mrs. Muldoon. She's a Southern Belle and good Catholic. Avery has a ton of fun and Mrs. Muldoon brags often about how great a class she has this year. All the kids get along great and there are no real trouble makers. She is truly flourishing in school, already starting to read. Her and her dad read a chapter a night in her first Chapter series books, "The Magic Treehouse Series."
